We start by establishing the student's exact exam board, current level, and target grade.
We work together to identify their specific concerns. Do they struggle with time management in exams? With essay structure? The more I know about what they find most challenging, the more effective our tuition sessions will be.
Tuition sessions take place live via secure video links using collaborative document sharing and editing. Students practice actively articulating their ideas, analysing quotes, refining their arguments, and anything else they need help with. The learning techniques we use in tuition sessions will depend on each student's needs and preferred ways of learning: no 'one size fits all' here!
Students receive homework tasks that help them practice and consolidate what they've been working on and detailed feedback they can use to improve.
